- Probably one of the states most famous Beach town is Old Orchard Beach. Old Orchard Beach has a pier and very well established summer tourist population. They have plenty of surrounding restaurants and resorts to accommodate the influx of people that visit in the summer.
2. Ogunquit is a small little sleepy town right next nestled at the bottom of Maine and houses a beautiful beach that has the Ogunquit River flowing right into it. It has many astounding restaurants and hotels nearby as well.
3. Wells is right along the same sandbank as Ogunquit but is just a few miles north. Wells is a larger town that offers as well many tasty restaurants and offers lobster options and a great hotel experience.
